Self Portrait

God, this is what happens when You have insomnia lol, I started working in the set up wof the image at 11pm and went to bed at 7am.

I wanted to give it a "paint" look, with very smooth textures and nice lighting :) so I had 3 light sources to light the body and the walls with different tones.:spotlight-left: :psychotic: :spotlight-right:

I used timer to take the image but had to hang myself up the wall and put the blindfold on before the camera took the photo..... hmm yeah all in 5 secs, so I'm still wondering why don't I buy a remote for the camera haha :sarcasticclap:

Anyway, I think I should go and have more sleep ;)

No I share the flat ;) but I always clean after, I didn't leave a single spot on the wall, was a bit concerned cause we just moved to this flat and I did have the chest all splattered with blood and a huge dark red spot in the heart so i thought I'd stain at least a part of the wall but i didn't hehe

lol!! damn nice job then man! most o the time when i do fx stuff i gotta be careful not to let the blood touch ANYTHING - i usually use gel blood for most stuff so it rilly stains bad :devilish:

I think the one that amde more mess after finishing all the shoot was "pins & needles" even though I had a plastic underneath the white floor it eneded up staining teh carpet which was cream colour lol, you can see form that pic is very messy and stuppidly aftr cleanign all the tiles, I took the plastic off adn forgot I hadn't clean my feet, so I left a big foot print in the hall at the entrance of the flat hahaha Managed to clean it a few weeks later lol It did look funny.

lol!! damn man... ya the 'pins/needles' pic looks a bit messy - hence the reason it looks so good imo :devilish:
i'm stayin with my wife's parents in China atm, so i can't do anything -too- overt - mainly jus wounds and such. i really envy that you have a flatmate that lets you do all this, thats jus fuckin awesome i think ;) so keep up the good (and bloody) work :XD:

Now this shot I really like, especially the lighting and how the blood is.
